The National Service Scholarship Foundation (NSSF) Charter
The sole purpose of the Foundation is to act as a scholarship fund to provide scholarships and bursaries to Australian citizens or permanent residents.
Scholarship(s) may be awarded to individuals - from any background, including indigenous and/or disadvantaged applicants. Applications will be considered from those who demonstrate the capability and commitment to, but may lack the means to access an entry level tertiary education. A NSSF scholarship will assist such applicants in undertaking study in medicine, dental, nursing or allied health fields.
In order to attain these objects the Foundation shall:
Attract and retain for the Foundation the continuing interest and financial support of members of the public
Solicit donations, gifts, bequests and other forms of financial assistance
Raise money from the public sector and
Do all things incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objects.
By supporting the Foundation you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are contributing to the further education and skills development of those already committed to the enhanced learning and medical skills that will be of significant benefit to our society as a whole.
